Hi, I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Maya Perez (she/her), a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counseling Associate, serving clients throughout Washington State.
I specialize in working with queer and trans folks, folks who have experienced trauma, are navigating sexual & domestic violence, relationship challenges, burnout, or identity exploration. Wherever you are in your healing work, you don’t have to do it alone. You deserve a space where you can show up authentically and feel seen, heard, and understood. You deserve a soft place to land.
My approach to therapy is decolonial and rooted in my values of liberation and love. I believe that each person is deserving of safe and loving relationships, both with ourselves and those around us. And… I know there’s a whole lot of sh*t that gets in the way of that. Be it systems of oppression, experiences of trauma, heartbreak, or major change.
Using somatic and strength-based practices my goal is to support you in reconnecting to you to your strengths, bodily wisdom, inherent goodness, and trust in yourself. I offer individual as well as couples/relationship counseling and pull from my many years of experience working with fellow survivors of violence, neurodiverse folks, and within the LGBTQIA2S+ community.
